Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 1 October. As the local Muslim community prepares for the end of Ramadan, a month of abstinence, contemplation and worship, the best places to be at to experience the festivities are Kampong Glam and Geylang Serai.
Stroll down streets aglow with shimmering lights and decorations and buy traditional food, fashion, textiles, handicrafts and more at the bazaars.
