expiring products. we are just helping them to clear inventory at the expense of our health.
Dear Sir / Madam,
Good chocolates' shelf life is about 6 - 12 months. When Lindt chocolates (from Switzerland)reaches Singapore, they left about 10 months shelf life.
Lindt Special buys here has a shelf life ranging from 3 weeks to 2 months. This is still reasonable for everyone's consumption.
I believe many products in the market are marked down either because they are over-supplied, range isn't popular or shelf life is ending soon - and still many consumers are willing to pay less money for these products. These don't equate to consuming expiring products 'at the expense of our health'.
Thank you for your concern.
Linda
I missed this round of "Lindt Chocolates Special Buys". Any idea when the next one is coming? I love Lindt Thins a lot. Not easy to find these days. Not even at airport chocolate shops !
