| | 1.The Great Mutual Help Q & A Giveaway Lucky Draw ("Draw") is open to all Singapore citizens and residents (collectively, the "Eligible Persons" and each, an "Eligible Person") aged 15 and above.
2.The promotion period for the Draw is from 1 June 2010 to 30 June 2010, both dates inclusive (the "Promotion Period").
3.A chance to win an iPhone 3GS (16GB), 2 iPod Nanos (8GB), 1 Canon Digital Camera, 20 pairs of movie passes, 20 NTUC vouchers worth $10 each will be allocated to each Eligible Person who participate in the lucky draw by accumulating a minimum of 1000 points in their 88DB account during the Promotion Period.
4.JobsDB, 88DB, OpenRice employees and their immediate family members are not eligible under the Draw.
5.The Draw will be conducted on 2 July 2010 at 88DB Singapore Pte Ltd 8 Jurong Town Hall Road #30-01/02/03 The JTC Summit Singapore 609434 at 3:00pm (or on such other date or time or at such other venue as may be determined by 88DB Singapore) and a total of one (1) winning Eligible Person will be selected at random by such means and methods (which may be manual or computerised) as 88DB Singapore may determine. 88DB Singapore reserves the right to draw reserve winners to replace any winner subsequently found to be disqualified. The winner will be notified by post/email address (to his/her respective address or email address in the records of 88DB Singapore) within 5 working days from the date of the Draw. The results of the draw will also be announced on 88DB Singapore within 5 working days.
6.A total of forty-four (44) winners will be selected for the draw and one winner will be entitled to an iPhone 3GS (16GB) worth $1,040, one winner entitled to a Canon Digital Camera worth $3,00, two winners entitled to an iPod Nano (8GB), twenty winners entitled to a pair of movie passes, twenty winners entitled to a NTUC voucher worth $10.
7.If any person is subsequently discovered to be not entitled or ineligible to participate in the Draw or ineligible to receive the prize, 88DB Singapore reserves the right to forfeit/reclaim the prize at its discretion and confer the same on any other person as may be selected by 88DB Singapore in any manner as 88DB Singapore deems fit. No person shall be entitled to any payment or compensation from 88DB Singapore should any prize be forfeited.
8.88DB Singapore may at its sole discretion substitute or replace any prize with any other prize of equal or similar value (in kind) selected by it without prior notice. Unless otherwise indicated by 88DB Singapore, all prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable for cash or for any other item.
9.The winner agrees to co-operate with and participate in any advertising or publicity activities of 88DB Singapore relating to the Draw and agrees that 88DB Singapore may publicise the name and/or photograph of each winner in such mode and manner as 88DB Singapore considers fit.
10.Without prejudice to these terms and conditions, all participants in the Draw expressly and irrevocably permit and authorise 88DB Singapore to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding their particulars to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Draw for the purposes of the Draw.
11.88DB Singapore's decision on all matters relating to this Draw will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Draw, these terms and conditions will prevail.
12.88DB Singapore reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this Draw or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any person, the bases and methods of identification of winners and the dates of the Draw.
13.88DB Singapore shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Draw, including any act or omission relating to any person's participation howsoever caused, any error in computing any draw chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment and any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post.
14.These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and the participants in the Draw irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions. |
