Hawker Heroes, the first-ever dining concept that brings young next-generation hawkers together, will be opening on 20th September at Northpoint Yishun. In celebration of the Grand Opening, the first 100 customers will enjoy a bowl of Mee Pok or Curry Rice at only $2 (usual price: $4.50) each on 20th September!

Hawker Heroes aims to preserve and celebrate Singapore’s unique and authentic hawker culture and heritage! Customers can now savour one of Singapore's best Hainanese curry rice and fishball noodle stalls - Hong Seng Curry Rice and Ru Ji Kitchen under one roof.

Hong Seng Curry Rice was founded in 1995 at Redhill Hawker Centre, the young hawker, Lim Jia Han took over the reins from his father and uncle. Following a 25-year-old recipe handed down by Jia Han’s grandmother, the Hainanese curry is cooked with chicken, squid and potatoes, all of which lend the curry its flavourful and robust note. Guests can drench it over white rice; health-conscious patrons can also choose brown rice as the staple.

On the other hand, all the fishballs and fishcakes served at Ru Ji Kitchen are handmade with 100% pure fish meat. Their fishball noodles are usually sold out by 1pmdaily at their original stalls at Holland Drive and Redhill Hawker Centre.

Now both the stalls are coming together and bring their food to the North!

Nadai Fujisoba Ni-Hachi Super Weekend Soba Offers from $6.90 Onwards, till 31 Aug 2017

Nadai Fujisoba Ni-Hachi, Japan’s number one soba restaurant is having a weekend soba promotion, focusing on its warm soba. The enticing fragrance of the warm soba’s tsuyu (noodle soup base) comes from the dried bonito flakes and kaeshi (concentrated soup base).
